The Nevada Economic Developers Association (NEDA) is a statewide professional association dedicated to strengthening and supporting economic development professionals across Nevada. NEDA will serve as a central resource for training, certification, and professional development, preparing current and future practitioners to support Nevada’s long-term economic growth. The association will also provide education for government leaders, nonprofit partners and elected officials to ensure they are equipped to help attract businesses, support workforce development, and encourage investment in communities statewide.

NEDA Economic Development 101 Training Course

Registration is officially open for the very first NEDA Economic Development 101 Training Course, hosted by LVGEA and Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN) in partnership with the International Economic Development Council.

Join us on April 7, 2026 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the College of Southern Nevada campus in Las Vegas for a full day, in person course designed to break down the fundamentals of economic development. From business attraction and retention to workforce strategy, real estate, planning, marketing, and finance, you’ll gain practical tools and real world insights you can put to work immediately.

Whether you are new to the field, an elected official, or a community partner looking to deepen your impact, this course will strengthen your foundation and expand your perspective.
